EAT WELL: Orange, Pineapple, Papaya Salad

This is a beautiful and refreshing fruit dish that takes only as much time as it takes to cut the fruit. And you can enjoy it as a salad or a dessert. Another  healthy addition to your menu that you can enjoy all year, but it’s an especially tasty treat when the summer temps rise!
 
One serving provides 244% of your daily value (DV) for vitamin C and 96% DV for manganese.

Ingredients:
1 medium sized pineapple, cut into 1-inch pieces
4 oranges, segments cut out from membrane
1 large papaya, cut into pieces
2 TBS sliced almonds
 
Directions:
Cut fruit and mix together.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Serves 4
 
Healthy Cooking Tips:
Cutting the orange segments as suggested in our preparation tip will eliminate the bitterness and rough texture of the membrane without the segments falling apart.
